the retailer can make intelligent suggestions about which products complement each other and work well together. For example, which pants, shoes, belt and accessories would go well with this top, given the style of this particular brand or retailer?

With this guidance, shoppers can be successful and will buy more. Without this guidance, shoppers are most likely to buy the same products they always buy, at the same frequency, at the same price points.
